The Federation of Independent Filmmakers is an non-profit organisation of authors making films without any commercial purpose. It promotes and encourages international relations, organizes cultural exchanges by filmmakers from all over the world, offers the possibility of making contacts in and outside the home country and meeting other filmmakers. We have members and film clubs in the whole Poland. We organise 14 film festivals annually, including Up to 21, OFF/ON, OKFA, or UNICA. We work with many cultural centres, schools and organisations in the whole Poland and cooperate with many European. The Federation belongs to the International Independent Film Union UNICA, which is itself a member of UNESCO.
