Witold Kon
President of Federation of Independent Filmmakers

He is a cultural animator and social worker with over 30 years of experience. He is very active in the independent film „industry” since 1982. He initiated and produced the first twelve editions of the Child and Teenage Amateur International Film Festival (present name MFF Dozwolone do 21/UP TO 21). He was the Director of the 53rd and 65th UNICA World Film Festival and served two terms as the Vice President of FAKF Festival. Since 1993 he has been the President of the Federation of Independent Filmmakers. He was awarded the Golden Medal of UNICA. He is an initiation and director of Young Cinema Art – the World Student Film Festival as well as founding father of the Grand Off – European Off Film Awards.

Agnieszka Wlazeł
Vice-President of Independent Filmmakers 

She graduated from University of Warsaw with MA degree in Cultural Animation and received a prestigious European Diploma for Cultural Project Management from M.Hicter Foundation in Brussels – the studies were realized in cooperation with many European cultural institutions. She has been involved with independent film for 20 years and made a few films that were awarded during international film festival. She initiated and coordinated many film workshops financed by the European Comission Youth Program. She was the head of the administrative office during the 59th UNICA World Film Festival in Warsaw in 1997, Member of the Organizational Committee and Vice Director of the UNICA Festival in 2003. She was awarded the Golden Medal of the World Union of Independent Cinema UNICA for all her work. She is a Director of the OFF/ON Warszawa European Film Week and Re:visions Independent Art Invasion. She also initiated River//Cities – platform for cooperation between European cultural organizations located in riverside cities. 

Sylwia Kujawska
International Cooperation 

She graduated from the Higher School of Pedagogy in Warsaw at the department of English Philology. Presently she is studying culture at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology. At the beginning she was working for Federation of Independent Filmmakers in a team of organisers of the International Film Festival Dozwolone do 21 / UP TO 21 and the UNICA World Film Festival. Since 2004 she is a Managing Director of OFF/ON Warszawa European Film Week. She is a coordinator of Young Cinema Art – World Student Film Festival and Vice-Director of Re:Visions – Independent Art Invasion. She is responsible for international relation as well as coordinating international projects. She initiated and coordinated international youth projects financed by European Commission such as youth exchange “The same differently” or seminar “Discovering and strengthening partnership in international projects”. 

Tomek Opęchowski
Voluntary Service 

Cooperates with Federation of Independent Filmmakers since 2005. He was the head of the volunteer department during OFF/ON Warszawa European Film Week, the World Student Film Festival Young Cinema Art and Re:Visions – Independent Art Invasion. Producer of many film, dance and music projects. He is a co-creator of international youth exchanges and local projects. 

Anna Romańczyk
Administrative Office

She studies Polish Philology at the University of Warsaw. She started cooperation with Federation of Independent Filmmakers in 2007. She was a manager of the administrative office during the World Student Film Festival Young Cinema Art, European Off Film Awards Grand Off and Re:Visions – Independent Art Invasion.
