Discovering and strengthening the partnership in international projects
Seminar 
Poland, 19-23 September 2007

Federation of Independent Filmmakers organised an international project that was about providing space for intercultural dialogue in the context of improving quality of international and local projects by discovering new methods and tools for a good and strong partnership. The aim of the project was to integrate EU countries with SEE countries and to make them more aware of the possibilities of cooperation as well as to provide a wide range of opportunities to find reliable partners. The seminar explored key issues of the international collaboration and European awareness in order to establish successful partnership between the participating countries. 



Our waste our problem
International Youth Exchange
Czech Republic, 20-29.04.07

5 members of Federation attended international youth exchange in Czech Republic. Our waste – our problem was a multilateral youth exchange, where participants from seven EU countries met in order to discover more about ecological issues. The main idea was to bring the awareness of the participants and local community towards the waste treatment as an important part of environmentally friendly lifestyle. We made a short film commercial about the waste. 

Intercultural Interaction in Creative Drama 
Seminar 
Turkey, 28.03 – 01.04.07

3 members of Federation attended the International Seminar in Turkey. Seminar was about discovering creative methods of working with youngsters using drama. The project was about building an interaction bridge among cultures by using their heritage. We exchanged the traditional games, tongue twister, and stories and shared different kinds of art forms to see how those forms affect our culture. Games, stories, and tongue twister were also used as a tool in creative drama in order to create democratic involvement of youth in the activities. We learnt how to use creative drama as a medium in our future international projects.

European Citizenship “Intercultural learning”
Training Course
Great Britain, 26-30.09.06

One of the members of Federation attended training course organized by Council of Europe together with European Commission. The general aims for these training Modules on European citizenship were to support the professional development of youth workers and youth leaders by extending their competencies to integrate elements of European citizenship within their projects and practice and support their role as multipliers with young people.

Advanced Training on Quality in Youth Exchanges
Training course
Poland, 3 – 8.10.06

One of the members of Federation attended training course organized by Youth Program of European Commission. Training course was about improving the skills of running international youth exchanges. The main aims were to reflect on the content of a youth exchange (how to develop a thematic as a tool for intercultural learning; how to promote the active participation of young people before, during and after the exchange; how to include evaluation and follow-up in a youth exchange) and to deepen knowledge, skills and attitude in order to better organise a youth exchange.

Flow of Europe
International Youth Exchange
Poland, 9 – 20.08.06

Federation of Independent Filmmakers organized an international youth exchange in Warsaw. Flow of Europe was an international project that aimed at building new platform for European filmmakers. The aim of the project was to create space for young filmmakers to work in different country in multinational teams. Filmmakers from Poland, Great Britain, Lithuania, Portugal and Sweden were working together and made film about Europe. At the first stage each group shot 3 minutes in their own country. The rest was made in Warsaw. Film was presented on the big screen during OFF/ON European Film Week Festival. 

The same – differently
International Youth Exchange
Poland, 18 – 31.03.06

Federation of Independent Filmmakers organised an international film youth exchange in Zakopane. The exchange provided the space for reflecting on the toopic of tolerance. After some activities and discussion about tolerance and reflection on cultural differences we started shooting. 30 young filmmakers from Ireland, Sweden, Turkey, Czech Republic and Poland in multinational groups made 5 short films that were presented in the Cinema in Zakopane.
